TAROX Launches High-Performance B36 Brake Kit for the Alfa Romeo Giulia

Magione, Italy — There was no better place than the stunning hills of Magione, Italy, to unveil TAROX’s latest brake kit designed exclusively for the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Since the Giulia’s release, TAROX engineers have been eager to enhance its braking capabilities. However, the car’s hub assembly posed a unique challenge: it was incompatible with our existing brake calipers, and achieving the necessary strength in the mounting hardware within the available space required a new approach. The solution? A completely new caliper, custom-engineered to meet the demands of the Giulia.

Fast forward two years, and after countless hours of testing on TAROX engineer Stefano’s own Giulia, we’re thrilled to introduce the B36 caliper alongside a bespoke brake kit designed specifically for this already iconic car.

The B36 caliper is TAROX’s latest innovation for road use, featuring 8 pistons on the Giulia, with a versatile design that can also accommodate 6 pistons for other applications. Paired with a 375mm two-piece semi-floating rotor, the Giulia brake kit delivers unparalleled stopping power and precision. The TAROX caliper offers significant improvements to braking power, heat management, pedal feel while also reducing weight.

Drivers will notice the improved pedal feel instantly, with the Corsa brake compound delivering powerful cold-bite performance, exposing the original braking system’s limitations. Extensive road testing has ensured an optimal balance of power and modulation, allowing Giulia owners to unlock the full potential of their vehicles.

Unlike many aftermarket brake systems on the market TAROX design and manufacture brake calipers, rotors and hardware in their north Italian facility. Brake systems are designed and tested on car to fit wheels without spacers featuring calipers hand built with custom piston sizes and disc diameters ensuring perfect power delivery working in perfect harmony with the vehicles control systems allowing you to get the most from your drive.
